A Dictionary of Basic Japanese Sentence Patterns

August 17, 2011

I think this book is great for learning new Japanese grammar / sentence structure. So far, I have learned a lot from this ‘dictionary’. Keep in mind, even that the book does utilize the term ‘dictionary’, I still approached as it if it were a textbook (i.e taking notes).

Each new sentence structure is given with with an explanation along with an example. Although, what I though was interesting was that the book also includes polite and informal sentence examples following the main explanation.

I will say that the book is a bit repetitive it terms of structure, but hey, it’s sentence patterns for heaven’s sake.

On another note, school just started so I won’t be able to study or post as often as I would like to ><;;
